Some openings are so unbalanced that one false move can cost you the game. A prime example being the Max Lange Attack, one of the stormiest opening systems of the 19th century that was named after the German master of the same name, who first suggested it in 1854.

And in this Gambit Guide series, GM Boris Alterman takes a closer look at the out of vogue Max Lange with 1. e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.d4 exd4 5. 0-0 Bc5!? - a position that can be reached by a plethora of openings, such as the Two Knights Defense, Petroff's Defense, Scotch Gambit, Bishop's Opening, Center Game and Giuoco Piano.

Great analysis and recomendations for a complex line Review by thed
Presents a good analysis of the most up to date information on the Max Lange and rather than just showing moves provides a solid recomendation with analysis to back it up. The duration was good and allowed a break to solidify what you saw. I would suggest using earphones although my ears aren't great, but they helped and I couldn't find a closed caption file if there was one that was supposed to be there, so if you need one ask the store about it.
