Great chess coach!
Review by sdbehrendt
Really enjoy working with Marcin. He is very helpful in pinpointing areas which need development and then provides clear and pointed feedback on how to improve, reviews master level games which illustrate the topic, and/ or providing links to articles, videos, or books to further understand. I feel that my game continues to get stronger after adopting each piece of feedback from Marcin. Highly recommended! (Posted on May 21, 2018)
thoughtful and proactive

Marcin is great in communication. He provided me a lot of information in my first contact with him. Very thoughtful and dedicated to students. He provided specific tips based on the review of the games. He also cares a lot about his students. He is very respectful to both students and parents. Marcin is open and honest in his communication and always provides more information than expected. An an online coaching, communication is the most important thing from my perspective. Marcin is certainly an extremely valuable teacher. I highly recommend. (Posted on April 16, 2018)

Marcin is a very dedicated chess instructor, always trying to help the student making sure your questions were answered. Always showing new tips for you to improve and up to date with what's new in chess. And regardless the time, he only finishes the class when nothing else has to be answered. Great teacher and I am very thankful for his lessons. (Posted on April 12, 2018)

Marcin takes a lot of effort to analyze my strength and weaknesses, going through my games, suggesting a pragmatic opening repertoir, but mostly focussing on the understanding of concrete position and games in order to be able to play more or less every possible position well. Great coach! (Posted on June 17, 2016)
An IM with deep chess knowledge and caring heart.
Review by NormanWho
IM Krysztofiak has taught my son for about seven months. He correctly identified my son's chess weakness, then works on it. With 12 tournaments, my son has increased 73 rating points and just becomes a National Master. I am very thankful for IM Krysztofiak's guidance. He is very dedicated, patient, and caring. He is always willing to spend extra time to help.
IM Krysztofiak himself is an active chess player, so his knowledge is state-of-the-art. If you are serious about chess, you will realize that you have found an ideal chess coach and will appreciate my review.

Above and beyond
Review by MrHyde
Marcin Krysztofiak goes above and beyond what is expected out of a coach. English being his second language is not a issue, in fact his English is better than mine. More importantly, his analysis of chess is great.
I have had only one other coach that I have had over four lessons. His price was much higher and did not provide the service that Marcin provides. For one, he answers questions through email quickly. During a lesson it is exactly what a lesson should be. Clear examples are used, or analysis if going over a game, and makes helpful suggestions.
I highly recommend Marcin. I promise you are getting much more then you will be paying. (Posted on March 21, 2014)
IM Krysztofiak is great!

I have been taking regular lessons with Mr. Krysztofiak for about two months. He is a student centered and very patient teacher. IM Krysztofiak helped me prepare my openings move by move right before each of my tournament and provided detailed analysis to review my games shortly after the tournaments. Mr. Krysztofiak is always available whenever I have a question about certain position/variation and his analysis has greatly improved my understanding of how to handle the middlegame. I am very happy to be one of his students. If you are serious about chess and want to improve your skills, I would highly recommend him to you. (Posted on March 21, 2014)
