After spending a year playing on ICC's subpar competitor sites, I decided to shell out $55 for a year membership and it is so worth it! There is far more competition and it is stronger with plenty of GMs and IMs to play against. As an improving US NM (~2175 FIDE) I find this extremely helpful.

The classic BlitzIn interface is straightforward and customizable. Who needs cloud software when you have this?

I have been an ICC member off and on for about 12 years and am not planning on leaving again anytime soon! If you are serious about chess and want to improve rapidly this is the only option. (Posted on September 25, 2017)

I am already many many years a member and for a good reason. The ICC is by far the best online Chess-place, not only to play Chess but also to experience Chess. So, why look any further if the best is this affordable? :) (Posted on September 25, 2017)

I've been playing a few years at icc and this is the best place to play. Most of the players are honest and don't use computers. that's perhaps is my number one reason for playing here. this alone is worth the cost of membership (Posted on September 9, 2017)
